The sealing element is mounted onto the end of the conduit and then both are inserted together into the outer body of the fitting. The element serves as a sealing and locking device at the same time.
The sealing function is provided over two thirds of the entire conduit insertion length by multiple sealing lips made from a softer material. Since the sealing element is also the locking mechanism it can be guaranteed that when the locking mechanism clicks shut the ingress protection is 100% assured.

Sealing elements are available for each conduit size NW10-48. They are compatible with all PMA polyamide conduits irrespective of profile (coarse and fine) and with all types of fitting outer body of the corresponding conduit dimension.
